HOW TO REACH MACERATA
By plane: The nearest airport is "Raffaello Sanzio", Falconara Marittima-Ancona. Then, from here, you can reach Macerata by train: at Castelferretti station (in front of the airport) take the train to Orte, get off in Fabriano and take the connection to Macerata.
Ancona airport is also connected with Ancona railway station by Conero Bus Company (line J)
By train:
Macerata is connected to the main rail-network only through local trains on the line Civitanova Marche-Fabriano. Once you get to Civitanova Marche, Fabriano or Ancona, take the local train to Macerata.
By coach:
RomaMarche Linee Bus Company connect Macerata to Rome and to the main towns in centre Italy

Coming from the Tyrrhenian coast: From Florence A1 Motorway exit Val Di Chiana, follow directions to Perugia/Macerata. From Rome A1 Motorway exit Orte-Foligno, follow directions to Foligno/Macerata.
